The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan

Fans of Percy Jackson will like this one. Riordan brings together three disturbed young people: Jason, who doesn't seem to remember anything about himself; Piper, a confused trouble-maker, her father a famous Cherokee movie star and who is certain Jason is her boyfriend; and Leo, who seems mechanically gifted and sees images of "dead people." The three end up at Camp Half-Blood midst rumors of the fulfillment of the Great Prophecy. Teaming up, unsure of their destination, they only know that they follow their instincts. Great adventure and fantasy story. Another great beginning to a series. Sandy Penton.
