Seventeen year-old Lizzie marries her beau, Stephen, and thus begins a cronicle of their married life. It is not an easy job as Lizzie is a worrier and likes having her own way. Stephen loves her but finds her controlling ways difficult to deal with and reacts in a "man way" by ignoring her outbursts. Lizzie does a lot of growing, maturing into the woman she needs to be, conquering her fears of married life, childbearing, and being one part of a couple. Interesting and enjoyable. Sandy Penton.
