Caring for her widowed mother (two sisters had married and moved away) Clara has resigned herself to living alone and no chance of marriage. When Tim Graber arrives to help his aunt and uncle with their spring planting and chores, he is drawn to Clara and realized that the girl he left at home may not be the one for him. A compelling and heart-warming story that leaves the reader satisfied at the end. A good read. Sandy Penton
