This book was previously written as "The Pit" under Dean Koontz's pen name Owen West. Jack Dawson, police detective, and his two children are caught up in a supernatural crime spree when Baba Lavelle, a voodoo priest from Haiti, takes his revenge out on the mob. I liked it.
